Toledo Engine House

The prototype for the P.H.& N. engine house is still in use in Toledo, Ohio.  It was built to service the Ann Arbor RR diesels at the southern end of the railroads AA line.  These photos were taken during a railroad fan trip in the mid 1990s.  The facility is complete with all the neat extras including locomotive trucks, old box cars, barrels, used car parts and sand storage.  There are several old tank cars modified for use as an oil storage facility.
